Cheryl Showalter - Agent
Cheryl Hansen Showalter has been a licensed Realtor for a decade now, beginning her career in Michigan where she lived in an adorable village called Homer. A job transfer brought Cheryl and her husband Martin to Bellevue, which is Cheryl's home town. She grew up on a dairy farm South of town called Gray Haven Farm. Her Grandfather Art Hansen was a breeder of prize winning Guernsey cattle, was on the school board, was also a Realtor, and was a big influence in her life.
Cheryl is the Mother of five children ranging in age from 30 to 15. Chris, Allyson, Josh, Joey and Annie are the light of her life, and motherhood was Cheryl's first career choice and primary responsibility for 20 years or so. Cheryl and Martin also have two beautiful granddaughters named Emeline and Lyla by Cheryl's daughter Allyson and her husband Zach Allen. Cheryl is also Step-mom to Martin's children Jeff, Kevin and Ashley, who live in Arizona. She is now able to stretch her wings and do some things she enjoys, such as sell Real Estate and Direct theater.
Theater is definitely one of the highlights of her life. She got degrees in theater from BYU, and CMU, and has been directing theater since 1989. Cheryl started her own Community Theater in Homer, Michigan where she directed 20 plays over 17 years. She is now on the Board of Directors at the Bellevue Society for the Arts, and has directed two shows there in the past three months, LITTLE WOMEN, and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, and is slated to direct four more shows for their 25th season beginning in the fall.
